Objetivos
OVERALL AIMS
- Comprehensive healthcare, working in the interests of health with an all-embracing approach. This takes account of the physical and
psychological aspects of health, without forgetting its spiritual facet (1 Thes 5:23).
We see our particular calling to be to watch over the well-being of each, and all, of the above aspects of health.
May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
SPECIFICS AIMS
- To design projects of healthcare and social action in favour of those areas of our society where needs are most concentrated.
- To design projects for international cooperation whose goal would be to foster the development of health infrastructures, especially in countries of the Southern Hemisphere.
- To organize talks and lectures on issues related to bio-ethics. Taking Christian values as their starting point, these talks will be targeted at healthcare professionals.
- To design programmes which will attend to the affective needs associated with the terminally ill patient, the person facing an unwanted
pregnancy or the individual who is a victim of abuse, be this physical or sexual. These care programmes would also include the family members
involved in the situations mentioned.
- To carry out any other activity which would both foster health and assist any needy person, as long as that activity does not go against Biblical principles.
